By introducing their unique 'fast face insert design', Titleist are
able to increase the effective hitting area on the driver face by up to
15% when compared to the previous Titleist 909 Drivers. This increased
sweet spot provides golfers with the potential for
greater distance. They have also optimized the weight distribution in
the Titleist 910 D3 Driver, with a brand new head
design and bezel weight at the rear end of the clubhead.
This weight
distribution lowers the center of gravity and moves it deeper back in
the clubhead, which helps to improve stability by stopping the clubhead
from twisting as much at the moment of contact, especially on those off
center hits, to give golfers more accuracy and control off of the tee.
Titleist have also introduced their patented
SureFit
Tour technology to the Titleist 910
D3 Driver. This unique
evolutionary technology provides golfers
with the opportunity to tailor the drivers performance to match their
own swing style by allowing them to individually adjust the loft and
lie angle.
A powerful accolade supporting the new
Titleist
910 Drivers comes from the
Worldwide
Professional Tour itself, with over 100 players transferring over
to the new Titleist 910 Drivers within a couple of months of the
seeding process. Within that time they have already amassed a
combined total of 8 Tour victories!
Titleist 910
D3 Golf Driver Technology
Patented
SureFit Tour Technology -
this is what really sets the new
Titleist 910 D3 Driver apart from the rest of the
field, as it provides golfers with the ability to optimize
launch
trajectory and direction control by independently adjusting the loft
and lie angles. There are some new drivers out there that offer
effective technology to adjust direction control, but these clubs have
a direct impact on launch angle at the same time.
The
great beauty
about the
Titleist 910 D3 Drivers
are that they are equipped
with the
patented SureFit Tour (SFT) dual-angle hosel technology, that allows
you up to 16 different loft and lie angle combinations. In other words,
you can change the loft angle of the Titleist 910 D3
Driver without having to change the lie angle, or visa versa, and of
course they can both be changed together if required.
The choice is
yours! This of course means that golfers have the opportunity
to
achieve
maximum distance, accuracy and shot shaping control by simply adjusting
the evolutionary two-axis design system to fit their swing
style.
Fast
Face
Insert Technology - Titleist
have managed to increase the
effective hitting area (sweet spot ) on the Titleist 910 D3 Driver by
up to 10% when compared to previous models. This maximizes ball speed
across a greater surface of the clubface and will ultimately increase
your distance on those off center hits. This face insert technology
works by varying the thickness across the entire clubface.
Optimized
Weight Distribution -
Titleist have also optimized the
weight
distribution on the 910 D3 Driver by lowering
the center of gravity and moving it deeper and further back in
the
clubhead. They have achieved this through thinning the crown of the
cludhead by 17%, and creating a more rear
sloped crown
profile.
They have also included a new swing weight screw which
is located towards
the back end of the clubhead sole. This helps to create more stability,
which in turn gives golfers better direction control, as there
is less clubhead twisting
at the moment of impact.
