The
latest ground-breaking technologies used in the X-22
Irons include Callaway's VFT Technology which stands for Variable Face
Thickness Technology. This
new enhancement provides golfers with
greater distance potential and more forgiveness by increasing ball
speeds across the entire clubface and maximizing perimeter weighting.
Callaway have also
increased the perimeter weighting, optimized center of
gravity locations, maximized distance and increased forgiveness in the
X-22 Golf Irons, by introducing
their new Precision Notch Weighting
system,
their 360 degree undercut channel, S2H2 Hosel design and their Modified
Tru-Bore
Technology.
The Precision
Notch Weighting Design
pushes more of the weight
towards the heel and toe end of the clubhead, which helps lower the
center of gravity to promote ideal launch trajectories and
feel. The 360 degree undercut
channel
also helps to move the center of gravity
location lower down and further back and the S2H2 design shortens the
length of the hosel and repositions the weight in the perimeter of the
clubhead.
The Modified
Tru-Bore Technology
is an advanced version of the original
Tru-Bore design which allows the tip of the shaft to extend through the
hosel and down towards the sole of the clubhead, and now includes a
polycarbonate tip plug which helps to dampen vibrations and
give enhanced feel for increased performance.
All of these ground-breaking technologies introduced into the new
Callaway X-22 Irons
makes them one of the longest,
most accurate and
forgiving irons available. This along with their confidence boosting
tour-inspired head shape design makes them a must have for anyone
seeking a new set of performance irons.
