Irons

The
new Titleist CB Forged 710 Irons have been created for the true golfers
out there and are in keeping with the solid old Titleist tradition of
developing serious golf clubs for serious players.
Not only do they look magnificent with their stylish chrome finish and
traditional blade looks, softer, thinner toplines and smoother rounded
profile, but they offer exceptional feel and performance that only
truly accomplished players can really appreciate.
Forged from 1025 carbon steel, the Titleist CB 710 Irons inspire
confidence at address, and have been designed to be slightly more
forgiving than the Titleist MB 710 Forged Irons, as well as offering a
slightly higher ball flight for softer landings with the longer irons.
Titleist have certainly done their homework with these clubs, by
creating a set of irons for better players who require a
little
bit of extra confidence in their game. The Titleist CB 710 Forged Irons
weighting system has been optimized to offer more forgiveness, lower
the center of gravity and increase the moment of inertia. |
They
have done this by creating a cavity muscle back to position more of the
weight and mass lower down in the clubhead and more behind the impact
area. This gives golfers a soft yet solid feel at impact and provides
consistent backspin, launch angles and ball speeds for precision
distance and shot making control.
Titleist have also made the leading edge a little blunter, this with
the cambered sole promotes smooth turf entry and release every time.
They also feature dual hosel lengths, with shorter hosel lengths in the
longer irons to improve launch conditions and longer hosel lengths in
the mid to short irons to help with ball flight.
The Titleist CB 710 Forged Irons and Titleist MB 710 Forged Irons offer
unbeatable performance, feel and shot control, but are not for the
faint hearted. Serious golfers will appreciate the tremendous benefits
that these clubs have to offer, but if you are looking for a set of
irons that still offer exceptional feel but with a little more
forgiveness, then you may be interested in either the Titleist AP1 710
Irons or the Titleist AP2 710 Irons.

AP1 710 Golf Irons Review |
Unlike
the AP2 Irons which have been created for the serious golfers
who play off between 0 -15 handicap, the new Titleist
AP1 710 Irons have been specifically designed for the mid to
high handicappers. Titleist have spent alot of time and effort focusing
on making the feel a little more lively and active by thinning the face.
Titleist have also reinforced the AP1 710's with a co-molded elastomer
aluminum back plate, which helps to produce a more solid and hotter
connection, as well as improving their playability and overall
performance by increasing the moment of inertia for greater distance
and made them more forgiving on those off-center hits.
