there would be a huge amount of interest in the release of their latest
creation, the Taylormade R11 Golf Driver.
The Taylormade R11 Driver is an absolute beast and certainly one golf
driver that will put a smile of your face, especially when you start
bombing drives longer and straighter than ever before.
As well as utilizing cutting edge technology and ground-breaking
enhancements that contribute to making this the most customizable golf
driver around, there is one glaringly obvious design element which
seperates this top driver apart from the rest........its White!
The distinctive white crown in contrast to the black face not only
makes it one of the easiest drivers to align correctly at address, but
also helps to reduce hotspots from the sun and minimize glare in the
shade, to help you with visibility and concentration. |
The Taylormade R11 Driver contains 3 key adjustable technological
enhancements, all of which can be independently adjusted, unlike the
previous R7 and R9 Drivers. This provides golfers with up to 48
separate loft (launch angel), face angle and flight path combinations,
making it the most customizable driver ever invented.
Taylormade have named the 3 key settings of loft (launch angel), face
angel and flight path the 3 Dimensions To Distance. They have done this
because they believe that these settings are the most important
contributing factors that will influence your maximum distance
potential. So being able to independently adjust these settings is
going to give you the best opportunity to accurately fine tune your
driver, so that they perfectly match your individual swing style.

Flight
Control Technology (FCT) - Adjusts Loft (Launch Angel)
> Allows you to increase or decrease the launch angle of the R11
Driver by 1 degree.
> Eight different FCT positions allow you to increase or
decrease loft in .5 degree increments.
> With every FCT adjustment also comes a change in face angle,
as well as spin rate.
Adjustable
Sole Plate (ASP) - Adjusts Face Angel
> With the Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP), you can open or close
the face angle of the R11 Driver by 2 degrees.
> After the loft or launch angle of the driver is set with
Flight Control Technology, you can tweak the look of the driver at
address by rotating the Adjustable Sole Plate.
> With ASP, you can independently tune face angle without
changing loft.
Movable
Weight Technology (MWT)
> With Movable Weight Technology (MWT), you can tune the
driver's center of gravity to promote a draw or neutral ball flight,
and can provide up to 25 yards of right-and-left adjustability.
> With the 10g weight in the heel and the 1g weight in the toe,
the R11 has more of a draw bias ball flight.
> With the 1g weight in the heel and the 10g weight in the toe,
the R11 generates a more neutral ball flight.
In addition to the above ground-breaking technological advancements,
the Taylormade R11 Driver also benefits from a more aerodynamic head
shape, which makes it at least 6 yards longer than their previous
2010's R9 SuperTri Driver.
