The
Newport 2 Putter, along with the rest of the Tour validated Studio
Select Putter Series, is precision milled from a block of soft 303
stainless steel metal and carries the tour-inspired Cherry Dot graphics
on the back cavity to provide you with a durable putter that feels
solid and looks classy.
The new and improved high toe profile helps to eliminate the tendency
that most golfers have, which is to lift the toe end of the putter head
up at address, that so often results in pulling putts to the left of
the intended target.
The Newport 2 putter utilizes Scotty’s brand new weighting technology.
By using interchangeable circular weights that are screwed into the
heel and toe of the sole, the Studio Select Putters have the proper
headweight to shaft combination that is accurately set for the 3
different shaft options of 33”, 34” or 35”.
The positioning of these circular weights also have the additional
benefits of reducing clubhead rotation through the impact area to
provide more stability, and increasing the moment of inertia to give a
larger sweet spot for a more consistent putting strike.

With an extra 2 heavier weight options available for the 34” and 35”
shaft lengths, the Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter offers

Although
the Scotty
Cameron Squareback 2 Golf Putter by Titleist Scotty Cameron
at first glance looks very similar to the Squareback 1 Putter, there
are some subtle differences in their design though, with the Squareback
2 Putter being setup to give players a bit more toe flow.
The subtle differences come in the form of a slightly thinner topline,
thicker cavity wall and a mid-length plumbing neck hosel that is
positioned slightly further back towards the heel on the Suareback 2
Model, instead of the shaft over spud setup in the Squareback 1 Model.
