Parque da Floresta golf course, is
currently the most
western
of the Algarve
golf courses
and is situated just 15 minutes drive away from the historic town of
Lagos.
Set in amongst the wild
and wonderful unspoilt rolling hills of the
western Algarve and just a few minutes drive away from the
beautiful
beach and timeless fishing village of Salema, Parque
da Floresta is
undoubtedly one of the most picturesque of the Algarve golf
courses.
This imaginatively
designed 18 hole, Par 71 golf course was designed by
former Spanish Amateur Champion Pepe Gancedo, and
although there
have
been a few alterations over the years in an attempt to make Parque
da Floresta golf
course
easier to play, it
still remains a great golfing challenge and retains much of its
original character.
