Taking
advantage of good quality short game instruction, tips and drills and
learning how to master the art of chipping, pitching and lob shots
around the putting greens, is an essential part of being able
to
reduce your golfing handicap, play better golf and start to score well
on the golf course!
Tour Professional's on average will only hit
around 13 out of 18 greens in regulation, yet still manage to shoot
sub-par rounds of golf! This means that on at least 5 occasions during
their round they will have to produce an excellent chip shot, pitch
shot or lob shot to save their par!
The reality is that most
amateur golfers will never come close to hitting that many putting
greens in regulation, and so as a result will have many more
opportunities to either save par with a well developed short game or
alternatively throw away precious shots by failing to get close enough
