If
pure power, extreme accuracy and ultimate forgiveness are traits that
you are searching for in a golf driver, then you will definitely want
to get your hands on the new Callaway RAZR Hawk Golf Driver!
The RAZR Hawk is certainly one of the Best Golf Drivers to hit the
market place in 2011 and provides you with Callaway Golf's most
advanced technological enhancements to date, and one of its main
features is the use of their brand new Forged Composite material.
This new Forged Composite material that revolutionized golf driver
manufacturing when it was introduced into the RAZR Hawk's predecessor
model the Callaway Diablo Octane Golf Driver was co-developed in
partnership with super car maker Lamborghini.
This revolutionary new material is one-third the density of Titanium
and features a greater load carrying capacity per unit mass in bending,
making it a much lighter and stronger material than Titanium. |
Containing more than 23 million turbostratic carbon fibers, this forged
composite material allows Callaway Engineers to precisely control
thickness like never before. Being able to precisely control the
thickness of the sole and crown walls of the RAZR Hawk Driver to make
them slightly thinner, Callaway are able to produce a lighter clubhead
that is stronger than Titanium, yet still maintains an extremely high
moment of inertia. The lighter clubhead also allows Callaway to produce
a longer club configuration, that provides faster clubhead speeds and
generates maximum ball speeds for greater distance, without
compromising forgiveness!
The RAZR Hawk Golf Driver also utilizes Callaway's Hyperbolic Face
Technology, which is a breakthrough innovation that redefines the speed
at which the golf ball leaves the clubface. This precision technology
accurately varies the thickness across the entire clubface to
dramatically improve impact efficiency and provide a much larger
sweetspot (effective hitting area). This means greater distance on
those off-center hits because ball speeds are increased across the
entire face.
Callaway have also improved feel and control by adding an Aldila RIP
graphite shaft and worked hard on improving the aerodynamic qualities
of the RAZR Hawk by streamlining the surface contours, and claim to
have reduced the energy loss caused by the effects of drag on the
downswing by up to 43%, when compared to the Callaway FT-9 Driver.
Which in turn creates higher impact speeds to increase distance off the
tee. Also recognizing that players have different requirements when it
comes to improving ball flight, Callaway have introduced their RAZR
Weighting System and have produced 2 versions of the RAZR Hawk Driver.
One with a neutral weighting bias for golfers who hit the ball fairly
straight or with a slight draw, and one with a draw weighting bias for
golfers who currently fade the ball or are looking to Cure Golf Slicing
issues. As with most of the Callaway Golf Drivers released, they have
also provided the more accomplished players out there with a RAZR Hawk
Tour Driver version. Although very similar to the standard versions,
there are some subtle differences in terms of head size, weight
configuration, face angle and shaft options.

Diablo Octane Golf Driver Review |
The new Callaway Diablo Octane Driver is an absolute gem which
utilizes a brand new class of material called forged composite, that
they have co-developed with technological partners Lamborghini. This
new forged composite material is said to be the lightest, strongest and
most precise material that Callaway have ever used.
This new
material contains up to 10 million turbostratic carbon fibers that make
up 33% of the overall clubhead mass. This allows Callaway engineers to
design a clubhead that has a more precise moment of inertia and center
of gravity than ever before, and will beat any all-titanium driver
hands down for power and distance!

Diablo Edge Golf Driver |
The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver has a special 4 piece construction
design that accurately fuses together the main components of the cup
face. This design gives the clubhead a deeper center of gravity and a
higher moment of inertia, which provides a smoother
more
balanced golf swing and a longer penetrating ball flight.
Callaway
have also increased the effective hitting area (sweet spot) on
the Diablo Edge Driver, by using a special chemically milled
hyperbolic acid reduction process on the face cup. This process enables
Callaway to accurately distribute the weight across the clubface by
varying its thickness in the required places.

Callaway
FT-9 Golf Driver |
The Callaway FT-9 Driver has a Titanium cup face and a carbon
composite body, which enables the center of gravity to be perfectly
positioned. This offers you a combination of distance, versatility and
control, and provides you with the ability to hit longer, straighter
and more precise shots, even with those miss hit
drives.
The most exciting addition to the
FT-9 Driver is the OptiFit weighting system. This gives golfers a
choice of 2 center of gravity locations depending on your natural swing
type. When you combine all of these features together in the FT-9
Driver you are left with a club that can hit fades, draws, and long
penetrating drives.
