Bushnell Tour V2 Slope Golf
Range Finder Review
|
|
The
2012 Bushnell
Tour V2 Slope range finder combines a compact durable design
with serious power to provide golfers with extremely accurate distance
measurements in split seconds, and has an impressive ranging capability
of 5 to 1000 yards that is incredibly accurate to within plus or minus
1 yard.
The Bushnell Tour V2 slope edition rangefinder also benefits from
Bushnell's PinSeeker Technology to ensure that you always lock on to
pin positions, and is essentially the same as its sister model the Tour
V2 Range Finder but with one key difference.
This difference comes in the form of an extra mode that provides
adjusted distance readings to compensate for the angle of slope.
Although this Bushnell
Slope Rangefinder isn't the smallest range finder available
it is small enough to attach to your belt or carry in your pocket
without interfering with your swing.
Being waterproof the Bushnell Tour V2 slope rangefinder also has an
attractive look as well as a great feel to it and provides a tacky
rubbery material on the top and bottom to promote exceptional grip in
all weather conditions. |
Equipped with Bushnell's PinSeeker technology which is found in all of
the latest Busnell
Range Finders, the Tour V2 rangefinder will help you to
eliminate any false readings from background objects by precisely
isolating your target.
This technology works by identifying when there are multiple objects
being picked up in the viewfinders crosshairs and then only retrieving
the distance measurement of the nearest target and ignoring any
background objects, i.e. trees. The great benefit of having the
PinSeeker Technology is that it is not just reserved for locking on to
pin positions, it can also be used for targeting bunkers, trees, lay up
points or any other objects that your require. The Bushnell Tour V2
slope also provides a scan mode to allow you to capture distance
readings for multiple targets in succession.
The display is easy to read and with 5x magnification capability you
will have no problem zooming in on your targets. The main feature on
this golf laser rangefinder (which makes it illegal for tournament
play) is the slope technology, that provides compensated distance
measurements, depending on the angle of approach for you next shot.
This feature can be used as an excellent coaching tool, as it will help
you to understand and improve your club selection.
The Bushnell Tour V2 slope range finder includes a 3-volt battery to
provide extra life, along with a nice carry case that has a magnetic
snap fastener with a zipped locking system to keep you device safe and
secure. Although there are more advanced slope laser range finders now
available, with the 2012 Leupold GX-4i and New Pro 1M Slope models,
they also come with a higher price tag. The Tour V2 slope range finder
is one of the cheapest golf laser rangefinders in its class and is a
great option for golfers who just want accurate distance ranging
without all the extra frills.
